Well, definitely now suffering from post-wedding blues …. we had such a wonderful day.  Congratulations and lots of love to our beautiful bride Becca and her dashing groom, Marcus.  Wishing Mr and Mrs Wells a very long and happy life together.

So the day started in that lovely, relaxed way; all gathering gradually at Southdowns Manor, looking at the rooms, helping Grandma with the flowers and helping Becca unload the contents of her car – dresses and sweets for the sweetie table (what a roaring success that was – conveniently situated right next to the dance floor so we could dive in for a bit more energy during our evening of dancing!).

Soon the bride was whisked upstairs for hair and makeup, and the bridesmaids were all with her, chatting, doing their makeup and getting ready for their duties – whilst enjoying a calming glass of fizz!

Look what SJ made especially for Becca ….

A wonderful shimmering Keshi pearl necklace, with matching bracelet that also had a little Apatite bead (something blue) above a silver four-leaf clover.  Her dainty earrings were freshwater pearls with crystal detail for a bit of extra sparkle – not that she needed it as she absolutely shone anyway!

As you can see from the photos below, the bridesmaids and flower girls looked gorgeous too (I may be a bit biased as a very proud auntie!) – Becca gave each of her helpers a very special gift by which to remember this wonderful day, each created by SJ especially for the occasion.  The bridesmaids wore delicate pendants, featuring an Amazonite teardrop with a pearl and moonstone or rock crystal.  The flower girls each received a white Baroque-shaped freshwater pearl bracelet, with a silver star charm with their initial and a little Amazonite drop to match the big girls!

Then the big moment came ….

The weather was fantastic – we couldn’t have asked for any better, and so Becca and Marcus were married outside.  Becca looked absolutely radiant as she came down the aisle – preceded by the flower girls throwing rose petals, and her bridesmaids.  A lovely relaxed ceremony followed in the brilliant sunshine.

Soon after it was drinks and photos in the garden …

Didn’t the Mother of the Bride (aka SJ) look amazing in vibrant blue?  Like Becca, SJ wore a single Keshi pearl necklace with matching bracelet but the gemstone on her bracelet was a sapphire to match her outfit.

All in all a fantastic, happy and relaxed day.  Cheers Mr and Mrs Wells! xx
